Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Indian Foodtech ("we", "us", "our") operates www.indianfoodtech.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or use our contact and sample request forms, how we use it, and the choices and rights available to you — including the additional rights that apply if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland.

1. Who We Are

Indian Foodtech is a B2B peanut butter and nut butter manufacturer and exporter based at Ground Floor, Plot No. 198, 197, 198, Om Industries Estate, Vibhag 1, Village: Mankana, Kamrej, Surat, Gujarat 394190, India.

For the purposes of GDPR and similar data protection laws, Indian Foodtech is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy.

For any privacy-related question or request, you can reach us at office@indianfoodtech.in or +91-97148-99711.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us directly

When you submit our Contact form or Sample Request form, we collect the information you enter: your name, business name, email address, mobile number, and message — and, for sample requests, your website, delivery address, and the products you select.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Tag Manager to deploy analytics and tracking scripts on the Site. Google Tag Manager itself is a tag management system and does not collect personal information on its own — it loads other tools (such as Google Analytics) that may collect technical information when you browse the Site, such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring website. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. See Section 5 for more detail and your controls, and Section 6 for the specific services we currently use.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries submitted through our Contact form
  • To process and respond to sample and quote requests
  • To communicate with you about our products, private label services, and export capabilities
  • To understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content and performance
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations

As a B2B exporter, if you request product samples, quotations, export information, or pricing, we use the contact details you provide specifically to communicate with you about that request — including follow-up questions, shipping/documentation details, and related commercial communication.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the information submitted through our forms for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and analytics/tracking technologies, and for any optional marketing communications
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure the Site, and understand aggregate usage patterns, where this does not override your rights
  • Pre-contractual / contractual necessity — to respond to a quote or sample request that may lead to a business agreement with us
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law

5. Cookies and Consent

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies via Google Tag Manager, for purposes such as understanding site traffic and visitor behavior.

Consent for EEA/UK/Switzerland visitors: when you first visit the Site, a cookie consent banner asks you to choose whether to allow analytics cookies (Marketing cookies are listed as an option for future use but are not currently set by us). Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you make a choice. We use Google's Consent Mode to communicate your choice to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, so that analytics cookies and any related data collection are only activated if you grant consent, as required by GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. You can review or change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer; if you disable a category after previously allowing it, we also delete the cookies already set for that category from your browser. Your browser settings remain an additional way to block or delete cookies.

Wherever you are located, you can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how sites should interpret them.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party providers to operate and improve the Site. If we add further analytics, advertising, or similar tools in the future, we will update this list:

  • Google Tag Manager — deploys other scripts (such as Google Analytics) on the Site; does not itself collect personal information
  • Vercel — website hosting and performance monitoring
  • Our email service provider — delivers form submissions from the Site to our team

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed in Section 6, who help us run the Site and respond to your inquiries.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.

8. International Data Transfers

We are based in India, and information you submit is processed by our team and service providers, which may be located outside your own country, including in India and other countries where our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or the relevant service provider's own compliance mechanisms (for example, Google's data processing terms).

9. Data Retention

We retain information submitted through our forms for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our business communications, and longer where required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. We have not yet adopted fixed retention periods expressed in months or years; this section will be updated with specific retention periods once those are formally defined. Analytics data is retained according to the default or configured retention settings of the relevant analytics tool.

10. Your Rights

If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure of your data, where applicable
  • Request that we restrict or object to certain processing
  • Request a portable copy of the data you provided to us
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

Wherever you are located, you can exercise these rights, or ask any question about how we handle your data, by emailing office@indianfoodtech.in. We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days, where required by applicable law.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under applicable California privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or request deletion of that information, and to correct inaccurate information, subject to applicable exceptions. As a B2B site, much of the information we collect is business contact information provided in a commercial context, which may be treated differently under these laws. You can exercise these rights using the contact details in Section 13.

12. Children's Privacy

The Site is directed at business professionals and is not intended for, and does not knowingly collect information from, children.

13. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, including serving the Site over HTTPS so that data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
